Chris Harsdorff, Managing Director
Chris Harsdorff is a seasoned executive with a solid reputation for providing organizations with innovative management strategies, practical work force plans, and effective training and development opportunities that combine to bolster organizational performance while providing employees with a renewed sense of personal and professional balance. An exceptional visionary and communicator who guides companies and individuals through the entire organizational re-engineering process, Chris is a particularly sought-after executive coach because of his experience as the chairman and president of a domestic tire and rubber company.
Since 1990, Chris has devoted his professional life to the issues of leadership and change. This focus follows an active practice of law addressing matters of corporate governance, employee benefits, and employee relations. Chris brings an unparalleled balance of common sense, insight, experience, and understanding as an agent of change and enterprise engineer. Chris believes change management to be three things: the job of managing change, a professional practice, and a body of knowledge linked by the general systems theory. "The role of the change management consultant is to facilitate the learning process of change. We don't have the answers; we have the questions," he says.
During the past decade he has managed the successful turnaround of an emergency medical control provider, facilitated the change of purpose of a public facility management company, coached healthcare executives during and after an acquisition and merger, reorganized the strategic services group of a major medical center resulting in 7% overall increase in patient revenue, and coordinated and managed the expansion of a privately held firm into the ranks of the Inc 500.
Clients include a major digital chip manufacturer, a regional telecommunications provider, a major national charity, a $12 billion retail chain, and one of the nation's largest healthcare providers. Chris holds degrees from Texas Tech University (chemical engineering) and The University of Texas School of Law.
